Happy New Year! We are back from San Fran, we are taking today to decompress and get back into everyday mode. I can't believe that the holidays are over, you wait and wait, then you blink and the season has passed

2012 was a whirlwind year for us. We moved out of our Charleston apartment in January, went to Europe in February, drove across country in March to our new home in Washington, Craig went on his first deployment in April, I drove across country AGAIN in May and saw Yellowstone, Nimitz turned one in June, we took an east coast trip in July, celebrated our first wedding anniversary in August, Craig left again in September, We ran a 12k in October, work picked up in November, and we went to San Fran in December.

whew are you tired yet?! some more fun facts: The seven months I have been in our house in Washington is the most time I have spent in one house since college. I rounded out my 17th move this year. I was in 17 states and 3 countries. My favorite country was France, my least favorite state was Nebraska (it just goes on and on and on!).

My favorite moment of the year was watching Craig's submarine come into port and my least favorite moment{s} was a failed full time job hunt.

it is safe to say 2012 was a big year! I hope 2013 is a calmer year but I can already tell you we have some big events on the horizion. Craig is getting ready for his next deployment, I am getting ready to go home to my parents' house for a long visit, a summer trip down the 101, and my twin brother getting married! I am also toying with the idea of running a Boston qualifying marathon.
