white water rafting

We survived the rapids! Without the lurking fear of water snakes, gators, or sharks (can you tell where I grew up?) being on the water and even in the water was more fun than I expected!  We kept a lookout for river otters and ospreys' nests. The water was so clear but so cold that it literally took your breath away when you jumped in.

The town ,however, was creepy! It was like a bad version of Disney World without Mickey Mouse. It was complete with bad food and a marching band. I think we will head to Vancouver for a Christmas adventure instead of there
