Paris, France

Hands down Paris was one of the most magical places that we have ever had a chance to see. Everything from the cafe lined streets to going to the highest point of the city, Montmarte, to see the lights felt like something out of a postcard. We spent two days in Paris and covered a lot of ground. My poor feet were covered in blisters.

The first day we ate (a lot) french onion soup, cheese fondue, mussels, croissants, nutella crepes, macaroons, and drank lots of french wine. The food was amazing! We went to the Lourve and was disappointed in the Mona Lisa (its so small, but the eyes...creepy), but Napoleon's state apartments made up for that. We treked along the left bank, saw Notre Dame, and took pictures of the love bridge. Did I mention the food was good?

The next day started with a little shopping! We went to Galeries Lafayette (it spans a city block!) and I got a beautiful silk shirt that I can't wait to pair with  j.crew's twill pants. Then we went on an all day tour of the city with the tour company, NEW EUROPE, which is awesome, and I will explain why tomorrow! We rounded out our day climbing the Eiffel tower, which required another crepe, it was hard work! Needless to say, we will be back to Paris one day because two days just wasn't enough!
