monday musings: vacation on the brain

I didn't mean to be gone all of last week, it just kind of happened. I spent two days with my neighbor who is seven months pregnant (!!!!) re-doing the floors in her kitchen and eating area. After pulling out floor boards and breathing in years of nasty germs that come with it, I got sick. good news is, the floors look great and I am feeling better! It is a BIG week, we get to go to sub ball, I take the first of my teaching certification tests, and we leave for Charleston. After three days of pouring rain, I am ready for sunshine and plenty of quality time with husband. Follow me on instagram to see all the happenings this week!

equipment blouse: I missed the saks fashion fix flash sale on equipement this week. I am kicking myself because I was set on getting a blouse from it. This one from the outnet has my name all over it

target sandals: I, in no way or form can justify a new bikini for charleston when I live in Washington but I do get a chance to wear sandals with jeans. the sparkle and the price have my heart

Nars Dolce Vita blush: I swear it looks good on everyone. My friend who has strawberry blonde hair and pale skin and I walked into Sephora and came out with the same blush. It is pretty with bronzer for date night or on bare skin with mascara for running errands. I never thought I would move on from Nars orgasm but it has met its match

Oh my deer print: I bought this for the gallery wall (follow on instgram for step by step!) and I can't get enough of it. 

Rest in Peace Lilly Pulitzer: major moments of my life from my college graduation to leaving my wedding have occurred while being confidently, happily dressed in Lilly Pulitzer. I look back at so many memories and remember them being colorful. What a wonderful life she must have had to know so many memories were made wearing her clothing. 

LA made maxi dress: I may order this tomorrow for charleston AND so I can wear it here with a jacket over it.

Chicken rosemary lasagna: we had this for family dinner  last night and there was just a single piece left by the end of the meal. it is that good!

if you don't see me on here tomorrow I may have died in my 5:30 am spin class, yikes!
