I love good snail mail. There are few things better in life than getting home from work finding a letter in your box, running inside, and ripping it open. I just don't get the same feeling from the excessive beeping of my iPhone telling me I have a text
Lately, though, I have been using paperless post to give my family and friends special mail the minute they wake up in the morning. Can you really have a bad day if you get a happy note in your inbox first thing? I love them because they aren't animated or noisy like other e cards but simple and hold much of the same elegance traditional snail mail has. I send them before I go to bed at night and look forward to making someone's morning. There are so much you can customize from the font to the envelope liner that the card has which makes it feel much more personal (annnd a lot less like I am cheating on my snail mail). It is also great because you can send a great last minute card if something really special comes up and a few days for USPS won't cut it. It would also be fun to send out if you have a girls' night and want a cute invite to get everyone excited!
Do you ever cheat on snail mail?
Sending letters is always a good idea! I need to get back to doing this!

I need it to become a habit again. I used to send 2-3 letters a week!
DeleteYour family and friends are so lucky to get happy notes from you when they wake up! Snail mail is kind of a lost art these days. I have a girlfriend who I still correspond with through snail mail and the feeling of a real letter or card totally beats an email in my book.

I am absurdly into any kind of paper products, and getting a note in the mail makes my day like nothing else! Sugar Paper is my favorite lately.
ReplyDeleteAH! I just went to Sugar Paper for the first time and I am obsessed!!! I love the art prints!
DeleteSugar Paper and Rifle Paper are some of my favorite paper products, but these are so cute that I think I may just cheat on snail mail with them! ;)
ReplyDeletetotally acceptable to cheat, just think of it as going green ;)

DeleteI adore Paperless Post - they have the cutest options on there! Did you hear they now have a wedding section? I'm sure it will save brides a lot of $$!
ReplyDeleteIsn’t That Charming.
I need to look at the bride section. I have been trying to help my future sister-in-law with her invites and it hasn't been easy!
DeleteI am obsessed with Paperless Post. I love the feel of real mail (and receiving it, of course) but there are just so many cute designs! And it's saved me countless times when I remember someone's birthday at the very last second.
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you. I always have a card.... it may just not make it to the mailbox in time. whoops!
