Last week was a bad week: let us start with the obvious. I did not get the job I applied for and there are no other opportunities on the horizon. Way to make a girl feel worthless. Then as I went to start decorating the house, I felt that everything I want is out of budget for right now (big circle back to not have a job). Finally, I felt generally lost and worthless on the opposite side of the country from people that could obviously make this better (besides Craig, he. is. awesome.). To top it all off we ate like crap because I hate grocery shopping and we have no food.
Pity Party is over. I am good at plenty of things, so I just need to stop being scared and start trying. If you can't take the highway, take the side street. You can't buy it, make it. Fix the things we do have to make them awesome. Stop being lazy, get healthy. Oh and Craig is turning 25 this week,so plan an awesome party with man food. Happy Monday!
ps. Thanks for reading my morning pump up.
I just found your blog via carly's blog, because I saw that you're a teacher. I'm one too and I am in the exact same boat as you. As hard as I try, finding a job is just hard. And it's hard to keep trying over and over and over again. But I really appreciate this quote! I think it is so true! I have faith that things will work out for you (and hopefully soon for me too!)
ReplyDeleteThere are a few jobs that went up yesterday so I have been in a flurry of getting paperwork done! I am not sure I am qualified which is frustrating because we moved out here. so keep your fingers crossed and let me know how things turn out for you!
