Whew, we didn't realize that moving back to the east coast would be a whirlwind of family and friend activities. We were gone every weekend in May for graduations, birthday celebrations, and family weddings.
Perhaps, our biggest piece of news is that we are in the market for a house! After two months in our rental
(and subsequent meltdowns) we realized that the lack of light/space makes it hard to live here. Add one grumpy dog with no yard and you have a grumpy family. We put a bid in for a house with a big yard and original hardwood floors. However, and most exciting is that we would get to redo the kitchen. It wouldn't be a full gut, the cabinets are solid wood so we are going to have them reconfigured and add to them, along with new appliances and a backsplash. This isn't our forever home so it won't have all the bells and whistles but we are looking forward to it all the same!
I obviously turned to pinterest to day dream about what we could do:

| An island is def. going to be added for more storage |
 |

| a new light fixture. I wouldn't say no to this one |

| and a gas stove is a must. I miss having one! |
