What is everyone up to this weekend? We are going to start to make our headboard for our master bedroom, which was my anniversary gift request (I want, need, must have our bedroom done before the bad weather sets in). I had also asked to go paddle boarding since it looks like fall might be heading up to the northwest soon; by next weekend the highs are only in the 60s! I finally set up my desk area in our guest bedroom so I am not on my computer all day. I am much more thoughtful about my screen time when I have to walk to it; now if I could only get off my phone more!

I took a step back and reminded myself that our budget and lifestyle doesn't match others, nor does it have to. I am 24 without a full time job because I chose to do a part time job I that I really love, that no amount of money could replace. Comparison really is the thief of joy.
